Art-Led Heritage
Art-Led Heritage is a platform conceived through the collaborative efforts initiated within the International Exchange Program at ICOMOS USA. The development of this platform has been made possible through the 'Individuelle Förderstipendien für BTU-Wissenschaftlerinnen' grant.
Art-Led Heritage presents its initiatives across four primary domains:
1-Study Heritage through Local Artists, Focused on Influential Women:
This initiative involves a comprehensive exploration of cultural heritage by collaborating with local artists. The emphasis is placed on highlighting the contributions and stories of influential women within the community. This approach not only preserves cultural narratives but also empowers and recognizes the significant role women play in shaping heritage.
2-Heritage Preservation Projects:
Engaging in heritage preservation projects signifies a commitment to safeguarding and restoring cultural treasures. These projects may include the conservation and documentation of historical sites, artifacts, and oral histories. The aim is to ensure the longevity and accessibility of cultural heritage for present and future generations.
3- Borderless Heritage, Intercultural Podcast:
The creation of an intercultural podcast provides a platform for meaningful dialogue and exchange of ideas. Through interviews, storytelling, and discussions, this podcast promotes understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures. It serves as a bridge between communities, fostering a sense of unity and shared heritage while celebrating differences.
4-Freundeskreis Freiburg-Isfahan:
The Freundeskreis Freiburg-Isfahan represents a collaborative friendship circle between Freiburg and Isfahan. This initiative fosters cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and cooperation between the two communities. Activities may include joint events, cultural exchanges, and collaborative projects that strengthen the bonds of friendship and promote cross-cultural awareness.
